“The issue of human trafficking is massive,” says Arielle Curry, M.S.S. ’13. “A lot of people think that it doesn't happen here.” But in her work as director of anti-trafficking at the Salvation Army-Greater Philadelphia, she sees people from everywhere. “A lot of the women who end up coming into our Kensington drop-in center are actually from the wealthier suburbs of Philadelphia,” she says.
