Wednesday, Dec 13, 6PM-8PM, Pipeline Philly, 30 South 15th St
Philadelphia has invested significantly in improving its public spaces for all citizens to enjoy. The benefits of a vibrant public realm and civic commons are clear—we need spaces to come together, get fresh air, repose alone, protest, and play. But are these spaces, in practice, accessible to everyone? Who are they designed by and for? Join Pipeline Philly for the beginning of a conversation about race and public space.
This event is hosted by Urban Consulate, PlanPhilly, PhilaNOMA, Community Design Collaborative, and PACDC and is free and open to the public. For more information and to register for the event, please visit this link!
