Job Opportunity: 2 Student Coordinators for new SAT Prep Volunteer Program

LILAC | Civic Engagement is partnering with Parkway West High School and launching a new SAT Prep volunteer program this spring. We have 2 student coordinator positions for this program that need to be filled immediately. To apply for the position, please visit the Student Employment website.

Program Details

The College Board has partnered with Khan Academy to create an online SAT prep tutorial. We would like our BMC volunteers to guide and coach Parkway West High School Juniors through the tutorial. BMC Volunteers will be paired with 1-2 students that they would work with throughout the program. While the focus of the program is SAT prep, there will be opportunities for a mentoring relationship as well.

What: SAT Prep Volunteer Program

Where: Parkway West High School in Philadelphia, PA

When: mid-March through April 2016 (approximately 6 week program), Monday and/or Wednesday afternoon from 2 - 5 (includes travel time to Parkway West High School)
