Every summer, staff gather for a picnic to celebrate the end of the academic year and to honor the achievements of their colleagues. Service awards are given out to recognize individuals who have five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of employment with the College.
At this year's picnic the names were read for those individuals who had employment anniversaries in 2020 and 2021 since a picnic wasn't held in 2020.
The 2021 staff McPherson Award recipients were also announced. McPherson winners are recognized for excellence and service to the community, either within or beyond the boundaries of the institution.
The 2021 McPherson Award winners were Jennifer Turner (Campus Safety), Debra Chadwick (Conferences and Events), and Donald Abramowitz (Environmental Health and Safety).
A separate luncheon is held each year to mark those employees celebrating their 25th anniversary at the College. Employee's celebrating the mark this year are pictured above.
