Library Highlights

Study Carrels
A limited number of carrels in Canaday are available to Bryn Mawr College community members. Students may submit a carrel application online, and are able to select their top choice for a carrel.

Quita's Corner
Quita's Corner, located on the first floor of Canaday Library, is our pleasure reading collection. Look here for popular bestsellers, literary fiction, science fiction, mysteries, graphic novels and more. The collection is named after Quita Woodward '32. This list is updated daily.

The Writing Center
The Bryn Mawr College Writing Center offers free, individual consultations on writing and public speaking. Undergraduate peer tutors can help you understand the assignment, generate ideas, support your argument, organize your essay or presentation, polish your writing style, and become a better editor.

Canaday 315
Canaday 315 is equipped with 24 student computers in clusters of 3 with a shared display for the table, designed for maximum flexibility for in-time information sharing in order to allow students and faculty learn from each other in innovative ways. You can reserve it through Virtual EMS.

Studio 313
Studio 313 is a recording studio located on the 3rd floor of Canaday Library. To use Studio 313, visit the Circulation Desk on the first floor of Canaday and use your OneCard to check out the key to Room 313.

Special Collections 1912 Gallery
Special Collections hosts a portion of the College's rare book collection in the 1912 gallery. The Gallery also functions as an exhibition and learning space open to TriCo community members and public visitors.

Special Collections Reading Room
The Special Collections Reading Room is located on the second floor of Canaday Library. Faculty can reserve this space for classroom activities through the Special Collections website.

The Lusty Cup
The Lusty Cup is a late-night café located on the lower floor of Canaday Library, where students can purchase coffee or snacks, find a comfortable reading chair, join friends for a study group, and hold club meetings or events.
