This April, students in both the Graduate Schools of Arts & Sciences and Social Work were invited to the biennial Graduate Career Symposium sponsored by Dean Burgmayer and the Graduate Student Association. Alums from both schools served as panelists for the event, which was moderated by Bryn Mawr professor of Political Science Marissa Golden. The topic of the conference this year was "balance," and panelists offered advice for how to keep perspective when juggling personal and career objectives. Bob Pileggi from the School of Social Work also led the group in a series of mindfulness exercises.
