The Department of Music presents Chamber Orchestra First Editions, conducted by James Freeman, 3 p.m., Saturday, March 19.

The program features the following works:

  • Milton Babbitt, excerpt from Transfigured Notes
  • W.A. Mozart, Divertimento for Strings, K.136
  • George Walker, Lyric for Strings
  • Jay Fluellen, Time Diverted for string orchestra (new)
  • William Grant Still, Ennanga for solo harp (Elizabeth Hainen) and strings

This event will be held at Haverford College in the Michael Jaharis Recital Hall and is free and open to the public. Indoor masks are required.
