What to bring:
- You and your parent(s) or guardian(s) income documents:
- 2021 W2(s)
- 2021 federal tax return(s) including the 1040 and all relevant schedules (1, 2, 3, C, E)
- Laptop (computers will also be available)
- FSA ID and CSS Profile log-in information
Ask your parent(s):
- What is the current amount of cash/savings?
- Did your parent pay private high school tuition for a sibling? If yes, how much?
- Is your parent self-employed/do they own a business? If yes, all federal tax schedules and forms are needed.
- Did your parent receive unemployment income?
- Does your parent participate in a retirement plan? If yes, what type and what is the current amount(s)?
- Does your parent have investments (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, 529 plans, trust funds, etc.)? If yes, current figures and statements are needed.
- Does your parent have other real estate property? If yes, what is its current value/debt (rental)?
- If your family owns their primary home, what is the current value and debt of your home?
- Did your parent have any out-of-pocket medical expenses in 2021 or 2022?
- For how many family members in your household will your parents pay for over half of their support? Please provide all ages.
