Join us in the Makerspace for a welcome reception to get to know more about our facility, services, and resources! Refreshments served. Students, faculty, and staff welcome!
Did you know the Makerspace is open for business? Drop by to see some of our equipment in action and learn more about ways that students, faculty and staff can make use of this space!
The Makerspace exists to give all members of the Bryn Mawr College community the opportunities, resources and support they need to learn, experiment and develop as builders, designers and makers.
On Thursday we'll be demonstrating some of our favorite equipment and talking about ways that students, faculty and staff can make use of these resources, which include a woodshop, a suite of digital fabrication tools, and general crafting supplies. While our services were rolled out slowly because of the pandemic, we are open for use and will be offering a regular schedule of workshops and instruction next semester.
We'll be running equipment and serving refreshments from 2-4 p.m., but encourage anyone who can't make it to this event to reach out to us at makerspace@brynmawr.edu—we are happy to schedule additional demonstrations.
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
