Tri-Co Multilingual Workshop Series
Please join Tri-Co faculty, staff, and students for "Recalibrating Classroom Engagement, Activities, and Assignments for Multilingual Inclusion" on Monday, Feb. 27, 4:15-5:30 p.m. ET hosted on Zoom by Swarthmore College.
In addition to stimulating conversation about ways to foster and support a language diverse academic community, we will have a multilingual student co-facilitator who will offer their perspective on the topic as well as opportunities to participate in envisioning next steps for our classrooms and campuses through an interactive small group activity.
Interested participants can register for the discussion and/or the optional reading through the form below or by emailing nford1@swarthmore.edu.
This will be the second meeting of the 2022-2023 reading/discussion group series Transforming Our Practices Around Multilingualism: In the Classroom, Communication, and Beyond, with a final session to follow in the spring. These workshops are organized by the Tri-Co Multilingual Specialists and sponsored by a Melon Seed Grant. If you would like to find out more about this annual workshop series, you can visit the link below or email the Multilingual Specialist at your institution.
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
