Whole-Body Experience and Salutogenesis
Join the speaker session with Farzad Goli, a senior registered hypnotherapist and health psychologist and founder of an integrative health model by the name of Bioenergy Economy (BEE).
To actualize holistic health in all of its aspects, BEE employs a systematic, evolutionary, and clinical approach. It introduces a feasible model to cohere body-mind, self-other, human-nature, and treatment-life dichotomies The effectiveness of BEE has been shown in clinical trials, proven to be effective in improving mood, reducing anxiety, and pain control in migraine patients, and improving psychological and physical symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, treatment of amelioration of tethered cord symptoms and signs, improvement of anxiety sensitivity and attention bias, self-concept of body and obesity. This model was also effective in reducing anxiety, depression, and heart rate and also enhancing the quality of life in post-MI patients
This speaker session will focus on the following topics:
- Body as a complex meaning-making system
- Salutogenesis and Evolution Salutogenesis is the study of the origins of health, with an emphasis on variables that promote human health and well-being. Through a study of holocaust survivors, the "salutogenic model" was focussed on the relationship between health, stress, and coping.
- BEE Fields and Levels: Body, Narrative, Relationship and Intentionality
- BEE model and Cancer Research
