Open Enrollment for Flexible Spending Accounts
Open Enrollment for the 2024 Plan Year runs from Nov. 15 to Dec. 14
Please read the Open Enrollment memo for details. Election forms must be returned or online elections made by midnight, Dec. 14, 2023.
The dependent care maximum will remain at $5,000 and the medical care spending maximum is increasing to $3,200.
The College is continuing to use Inspira as its third-party claims administrator for the Flexible Spending Account.
Elections
Flexible spending elections do not automatically roll over. If you currently participate in either or both of the plans, you must affirmatively make new elections for 2024.
You can make your elections online or by using the Flexible Spending Account Election Form:
- Virtual Bryn Mawr login page (navigate to Self Service > Benefits > Benefits Enrollment)
- Election Form (print, complete, and return)
When making your election, please account for the fact that eligible expenses are determined by the date of service, not the date of payment. If you have any concerns about whether a particular expense will be allowed under the IRS rules, please contact Human Resources before submitting your election rather than making assumptions.
