Dance Curriculum Overview

Whether you've studied dance for many years or are just starting out, the Dance Program curriculum is designed to meet your interest and ability. It offers technique courses in a range of  genres; several types of performance opportunities including ensembles in multiple styles; three levels of Dance Composition and Choreography; and dance studies seminar courses designed to introduce students to dance as a vital and engaging area of inquiry and research.

Students at Bryn Mawr and Haverford take dance courses for many reasons. Some are dance majors or dance minors, some are taking dance to fulfill the Approaches to Inquiry requirements. Others choose to dance for P.E. credit, while others just want to dance! Dance is open to all students at Bryn Mawr.
