Our Philosophy
The Health and Wellness Center provides student-centered holistic health and wellness care and encompasses every aspect of the human experience – mind, body, spirit, and community.
The HWC's integrated philosophy is grounded in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, which supports the ongoing discovery and growth of what health and wellness means to students and promotes lifelong growth and development.
Our Hours
The Health and Wellness Center is open for business when class is in session Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Counseling Triage Hours are 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 2-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. During these hours, students may be seen without an appointment on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Counseling Services may offer evening groups throughout the academic year.

- Health Services offers extended hours until 7 p.m. on Monday and Thursday.

After-Hours Healthcare Access
- In a mental health crisis, please call 610-526-7778 to speak to a counselor.
- In a medical crisis, call 610-526-7911 for Campus Safety to activate emergency medical services.
- For medical issues, call 610-517-4921 to speak with an AccessNurse telephone triage nurse.
- To speak with a counselor, please use TELUS Health
- Free Mental Health Support is available for all currently enrolled BMC students on or off campus through TELUS Health.

- For those outside the U.S. and Canada, here is information on avoiding international dialing fees while using TELUS abroad. Information about use abroad can also be found in the app. TELUS provides confidential 24/7 free counseling to all students. Students can also access the service 24/7 by calling 1-844-451-9700. Healthcare During School Breaks
The Health & Wellness Center maintains limited in-person hours during academic year school breaks.
Contact Campus Safety (610-526-7911) for transportation to Bryn Mawr Hospital Emergency Room. Remember that in a true emergency situation, you should seek treatment at the hospital emergency room. Finances can be worked out later, if necessary.
For non-emergent medical care:
- If you are enrolled in the UnitedHealthcare Student Plan, click here to log in to access free online telemedicine.
- Once you log in, navigate to "Care Options" on the right of the screen and click on "Telehealth Medical" below that. This is a 24-hour service.
