All applications and required documentation must be submitted by the required deadline for which you are applying. To ensure full aid consideration, please apply on time.

For 2025-2026, the Department of Education has advised that full access to the FAFSA application is expected by early December 2024.

CSS Profile

Submit your CSS Profile using Bryn Mawr College code #2049. If your parents are divorced, separated, or never married, both parent households must submit a Profile.

After reviewing your Profile data, your financial aid counselor may contact you directly and request that you send more information in order to provide you with the most accurate estimate possible.

Report your full legal names as they appear on your social security card. Provide your social security number to ensure accurate processing of your financial aid results.

The College Board grants fee waivers upon Profile completion for eligible students based on income information.

If you are a nontraditional student: Submit your CSS Profile using your information and your spouse's (if applicable).

Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Complete the online version of the FAFSA using Bryn Mawr College code #003237.

We strongly encourage providing consent for the Department of Education to receive an individual's FTI direct from the IRS.

It is important to note that if an application does not provide consent, the student will be ineligible for federal aid. 

Report social security numbers and full legal names as they appear on your social security card. Without them, the U.S. Department of Education cannot process your financial aid results.

If you are a nontraditional student: You and your spouse (if applicable) must sign your FASFA with an FSA ID and provide consent.

*The Department of Education will begin beta testing the 2025-26 FAFSA application from Oct 1st - mid November. Students should not expect access to the application during this time frame.

Tax Returns or
Non-Filer Statements

Full federal income tax returns are required to apply for institutional funds.  When you complete the CSS Profile the College Board will prompt you to submit 2023 federal tax returns or non-tax-filer statements to Bryn Mawr College using their Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) at no cost to you or your parents. Submit signed photocopies of all 2023 federal (no state) income tax returns, both business and personal, including all W-2 forms, statements, attachments, and schedules for both parents, including stepparents.

All documents must be uploaded to IDOC. 

If you are a nontraditional student: Independent students and spouse (if applicable) must submit signed photocopies of all 2022 federal (no state) income tax returns, both business and personal, including all W-2 forms, statements, attachments, and schedules.

Non-Custodial Waiver: If you have special circumstances that warrant consideration for your other parent household complete the College Board Non-Custodial Parent Petition Waiver. Please be aware that Bryn Mawr College requires an additional third-party statement signed and on letterhead along with the College Board Waiver.

Federal Aid Only: If you are a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident seeking only Federal financial aid, such as Federal Direct Loan or Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan please submit the FAFSA using Bryn Mawr College Code #003237. To be considered for federal aid and to ensure data accuracy on the application, we encourage students and parents to provide consent for their FTI information to be retrieved directly from IRS.
