Bryn Mawr College provides resources for students, faculty, and staff. Individuals who believe they have experienced discrimination, harassment, or sexual misconduct are encouraged to seek help from resources available through the College or from outside sources.
Confidential Resources for Students
Students may contact the Health and Wellness Center to receive medical care, speak to a counselor, or meet with staff from the Wellness Program. Mental health care providers in Counseling Services, health care providers in Health Services, the Wellness Program Director, and the Wellness Program Coordinator are confidential resources.

The Laurel House Domestic Violence Center serves victims of domestic/dating violence, and their loved ones (friends, partners, spouses, family members, etc.) who live or work in Montgomery County. You can receive a Forensic Rape Exam at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Forensic evidence collection is best collected immediately following an assault. Generally, hospitals will provide an exam within 72-120 hours following an assault.
Rape exams are free, and you have the right to be accompanied by an advocate from a local rape crisis center while at the hospital. The advocate can provide free and confidential care and support before, during, and after the exam. You do not have to talk to the police to receive an exam.
